India imposes anti-dumping duties on fluorine-containing backsheets originating from China

On March 29, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that it has made an affirmative final anti-dumping ruling on solar fluorine coated backsheets (Fluoro Backsheets) originating from or imported from China, proposing a 5-year anti-dumping duty on solar fluorine coated backsheets other than transparent backsheets, of which the producer, Jolywood ( (Suzhou) Sunwatt Co., Ltd.) at $762/metric ton and other producers at $908/metric ton. The case involves products under Indian customs codes 3920 and 3921.

On March 30, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a notice stating that an anti-dumping investigation was initiated into solar fluorine coated backsheets originating from or imported from China, in response to an application submitted by Renewsys India Private Limited, an Indian company.
