It is reported that Nippon has invested, designed, built and operated distributed photovoltaic power plants in Wujiang, Qingyuan, Guangzhou, Shanghai and other places, with a total capacity of 18 MW. After all the projects are connected to the grid and put into operation, the annual average power generation is about 20 million kWh, and the annual carbon emission reduction is about 15500 tons.

In recent years, as the main body of new energy increment to achieve the goal of "double carbon", photovoltaic has accelerated its expansion. According to the Chinese and foreign paint website, so far, there are 20 factories under Nippon that have installed or are preparing to install photovoltaic equipment, including Wujiang Factory, Qingyuan Factory, Hubei Factory, etc., to deliver green energy for factory operation. Take Nippon Wujiang Factory as an example, the actual use of photovoltaic power generation in February October this year is 801677 kilowatt hours, reducing 663 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and about 240 tons of standard coal compared with thermal power generation, It is equivalent to planting about 3234 trees, which plays a positive role in reducing energy consumption, protecting the environment, achieving sustainable development, and achieving long-term benefits from the economic, environmental, social and other dimensions. At the same time, Nippon strives to deepen the plant strategic layout of photovoltaic projects, continuously improve the proportion of green electricity in plant electricity, further reduce the carbon footprint of the plant, and strive to establish a green manufacturing model for the industry.
