The chemical giant expanded its factory to help the paint industry

        Recently, Brenntag, the leader of the global chemical and raw material distribution market, announced to renovate and expand its production plant in Brazil. The investment in the improvement of the plant will enable Brenntag to continue to expand its position in the country.

       According to Sino-Foreign Paint Network, the upgrading of the plant includes expanding the storage area to 2000 square meters and installing 14 tanks with a capacity of 675 cubic meters. In addition, it will establish a new quality control laboratory for distribution in the agricultural market and customer application and service, as well as two new reactors for the production of liquid fertilizer, with an initial production capacity of 2000 tons per year.

      With the new installation in this project, we will provide our customers with large-capacity storage availability, increased capacity, and more local delivery flexibility. Similarly, we can provide them with the expansion of liquid fertilizer production capacity and the position closer to some key customers, "said Rodolfo Bayona, president of South America of Brenntag Essentials.

      It is reported that the main products produced by the factory include inorganic acid, caustic soda, liquid fertilizer, peroxide and salt, and will serve the metal processing, agriculture, dairy products, industrial cleaning, starch production and coating industries.
