Zhejiang Quhua Fluorochemical plans to add 80000 tons of mixed refrigerant production capacity

On December 30th, the Quzhou Ecological Environment Bureau accepted the environmental impact assessment permit application materials for the 160kt/a mixed refrigerant blending technical renovation project of Zhejiang Quhua Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. and made them public.

Product plan: The project product adopts a mixed mixing process, adding 80kt/a mixed refrigerant product capacity on the basis of the original 80kt/a mixed refrigerant product capacity, ultimately forming a production capacity of 160kt/a mixed refrigerant products.

Zhejiang Quhua Fluorochemical Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Juhua Corporation, which is controlled by Juhua Group. It produces fluorine refrigerants and their raw materials as its products.
According to the strategic development needs of Fluorination Company, the existing 80kt/a new mixed refrigerant mixing capacity cannot meet the high load operation and market competition needs of Juhua Group's upstream equipment. It is necessary to further improve the mixing capacity of new mixed refrigerants to achieve the healthy, stable and sustainable development of the company. Fluorination Company plans to invest 2.6 million yuan to add and update some production equipment to implement a 160kt/a mixed refrigerant mixing technology renovation project. The project has been registered with Quzhou Intelligent Manufacturing New City Management Committee on January 9, 2024, with project code: 2401-330851-04-02-576599.
