Recently, the Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute has successfully passed the CNAS evaluation and obtained the CNAS laboratory accreditation certificate (registration number: CNAS L20985), officially entering the list of accredited laboratories published on the CNAS official website. This is also the second recognition certificate issued by CNAS for the Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute, after obtaining the CMA certificate on October 16, 2023. It marks that the Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute has become a legitimate and authoritative third-party inspection and testing institution.  

The China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) is a national accreditation body approved and authorized by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China in accordance with the provisions of the Certification and Accreditation Regulations of the People's Republic of China. It is responsible for the accreditation work of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection agencies and other related organizations, and belongs to the scope of mutual recognition of international laboratory accreditation cooperation organizations. CNAS is committed to promoting qualified assessment institutions to follow high standards and strict regulations, ensuring fair, scientific, and accurate assessment results, and providing efficient and reliable certification services to society.

The Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute was established in October 2022 and is located within Juhua Group Co., Ltd. in Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It specializes in reaction risk research and assessment. The laboratory has a professional technical team and first-class testing equipment, instruments, and data processing software systems at home and abroad. It is equipped with professional research equipment for reaction safety risks, such as the fully automatic reaction calorimeter (RC1e) produced by Swiss company METTLER TOLEDO, differential scanning calorimeter (DSC 3), and adiabatic acceleration calorimeter (ARC 254) produced by German company NETZSCH. In addition to conventional reaction risk research and assessment (reaction calorimetry, material stability testing, etc.), it can solve safety technical problems for chemical enterprises and provide customized safety technical services. It can evaluate gas-liquid or gas-liquid solid reactions involving monomers such as tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and vinylidene fluoride (VDF) in special media, as well as special hazardous processes such as fluorination and chlorination.

Having both CMA and CNAS certifications signifies that the Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute complies with international standards in terms of hardware facilities, testing capabilities, and management level of the quality management system, and has the technical ability to calibrate/test in accordance with relevant international standards. Being included in the national laboratory accreditation list has enhanced the reputation of the Process Safety Laboratory of Quzhou Fluorosilicon Technology Research Institute and its competitiveness in the calibration/testing market, laying a solid foundation for its participation in international laboratory certification cooperation and winning wider recognition.
